Three cannons:Fragrant and sweet, bombarding your taste buds
Three cannons, a snack mainly made of glutinous rice, has been widely praised for its crispy exterior and tender, sweet and delicious taste. After steaming and cooking, glutinous rice becomes soft, sticky, and sweet. After deep frying, it becomes golden and crispy. Finally, it is sprinkled with seasonings such as soybean flour and sesame candy, which makes people salivate. The birthplace of the three cannons is in Chengdu, but due to the rapid development of Chengdu, this traditional craft is gradually declining.
There are two places in Chengdu where you can easily get three cannons: Wenshu Fang and Jinli. And other places such as “cultural parks” and “people’s parks” can only be fully enjoyed when holding large-scale park activities.
