From January to November 2024, Sichuan Province implemented major policies to support scientific and technological innovation and the development of the manufacturing industry, resulting in a total of 73.15 billion yuan in tax reductions, fees, and refunds. Among them, policies supporting increased investment in scientific research and transfer of achievements resulted in a total of 22.01 billion yuan in tax reductions, fees, and refunds, while policies supporting the cultivation and development of high-tech enterprises and emerging industries resulted in a total of 11.32 billion yuan in tax reductions.
Sichuan should prioritize the task of “leading the development of new quality productive forces through technological innovation”. Currently, technological innovation has become a core element in the development of new quality productivity.
