In the second year of Kaibao in the Northern Song Dynasty, the Guang’an Army was established with the meaning of “Guangtu An Ji”, and the name “Guang’an” has been passed down to this day. Guang’an is the hometown of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China’s reform and opening up. It has four business cards: “hometown of great figures, city by the river, gateway to eastern Sichuan, and red tourism destination”.
