The first regular flight route for manned transportation in Sichuan has been opened and is taking off with passengers for the first time!
At 9:35 am on December 15th, a Beechcraft Air China King C90 carrying five passengers took off from Chengdu Huaizhou Airport and is expected to land at Langzhong Ancient City Airport one hour later. It will depart and return to Chengdu this afternoon.
Unlike previous test flights, the Chengdu Huaizhou to Langzhong Ancient City route is not just a one-time flight, but will operate regularly. Based on current ticket sales information, this manned flight route has at least one round trip per week and a one-way flight time of one hour.
This route is one of the first regular passenger transport routes opened in the province, marking an important breakthrough in the development of low altitude application scenarios. In the future, our province will also open Dazhou Jinya=Mianyang Beichuan, Dazhou Jinya=Chongqing Liangping, Mianyang Beichuan=Chongqing Liangping and other air routes, accelerating the connection between various parts of the province and surrounding provinces and cities, providing more diversified choices for public travel.
At the same time, various regions in the province are actively seizing opportunities for the development of low altitude economy, accelerating the planning and construction of a series of low altitude flight application scenarios for the public, such as unmanned aerial vehicle logistics distribution and low altitude sightseeing tourism.
